Testimonials

"I have been practicing yoga for more than 30 years and I can honestly say that Beth is at the top of my list of teachers I have had. She has an extreme wealth of knowledge of the human body. I have never been worried about getting hurt in her classes. She is an excellent teacher in both yoga and her strength training class called Warrior fit!"

-Beth L

"For 10 plus years, I have been a Beth Williams devotee. Beth is the best fitness & health educator I’ve ever known. Beth’s Warrior Fit, yoga, and private training classes guided me toward developing and maintaining a regular fitness program. Beth is a life-long learner and is extremely knowledgeable about nutrition and body mechanics. She uses that foundation to accommodate and guide others to better understand which exercises support and build specific muscles and healthy bones. Beth is exceedingly kind, patient, and caring. Her positive attitude is welcoming and encourages growth & healing. I feel great gratitude to have Beth Williams as my fitness coach for over 10 years."

-Sandi W

"I have attended yoga classes with Beth for many years, and it is ALWAYS a quality experience. More recently she has been doing a series focusing on alignment. I have found Beth's presence, depth of knowledge, and ability to teach and pace the class to be deeply meditative and satisfying. She is truly a gifted teacher."

-Deborah L

"HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Beth offers a safe, supportive and thoughtful space for moving your body. She is so very knowledgeable of anatomical mechanics regardless of your fitness level or age. You will always be challenged, and she will always take great care to help you make your body become stronger and because she pays attention, there will always be a modification to make you feel strong and able to accomplish the goal you are working towards. Beth always makes the workouts and Yoga practice fun and accessible. I have practiced Yoga, personal training and reaped the benefits of her exquisite WarriorFit class over the past 14 years and will continue to do so. Working with Beth has truly been a life changer for me, mind and body."

Beth‘s Bio

E-RYT 500 and Svadharma School of Yoga Primary Director Beth Williams has been practicing yoga since the age of 7, when her mother taught her how to meditate and practice asanas and pranayama.

As a teenager, she was reintroduced to yoga to help with anxiety, depression and panic attacks.

As a young adult,Beth practiced yoga regularly to help her connect to Spirit and to reduce chronic pain. It became clear to her that teaching others the benefit of this time honored practice was the next step in her journey.

In 2002, Beth received her first 200 hour Teacher Training Certificate through the Sivananda Ashram in Grass Valley, California. Beth then fell in love with Anusara Yoga, and after 3 years of study, received her second 200 Teacher Training Certificate in the Anusara practice. She continued her training by taking a 500 hour advanced teacher training with Scott Anderson’s Alignment Yoga from 2016-17.

She has owned and operated several yoga studios since 2001. She has also managed yoga programs and managed personal trainers at top notch gyms.

She has studied with many skilled teachers, such as Alison Alstrom, Darcy Lyon, Desiree Rumbaugh, Noah Maze, Doug Keller, Scott Anderson, Jeany Volk, Kim Schwartz, Douglas Brooks, Aaron Mattes, Sean Haleen and Elise Browning Miller.

Beth’s love and passion for life is evident in her teaching. She combines her knowledge of Yoga philosophy, alignment principles, biomechanics, kinesiology and multiple styles of yoga to create a beautiful and enlivening yoga experience.

She specializes in yoga with therapeutic elements and yoga for those with scoliosis, combining yoga and functional weight training.

Beth began strength training to help with her own hypermobility in 2005 and became a personal trainer in 2010. From her own experience and further training, she also specializes in working with those that have hypermobility, teaching them how to find mid range in their yoga practice and strengthening with closed chain exercises and weights.

Beth has broadened her scope of practice with these credentials and studies: Reiki Master, Certified Personal Trainer, Group Training, Weight Training Program Design, Chiropractic Assistant, Yoga for Scoliosis Teacher Training, Functional Movement Screening Level 1 and 2, Somatic Movement Center Level 1 Exercise Instructor, Active Isolated Stretch and Strength Advanced Level 1 and 2, and Level 1 TRX.

She continues to broaden her scope of knowledge and practice. Currently she is learning about nutrition and strength training for women throughout their menopause transition (peri and post).
